I’ve been checking out some of the line-ups and dates for some of the festivals that are slowly appearing here and there online. And I’m already wondering if the festival season will be over swamped with expensive and crap line ups?…well, I’m sure it will, and I’m sure some festivals won’t even make it through due to poor ticket sales again. But one festival I do hope gets a break of good fortune this year is BEACONS Festival in Yorkshire. After being hit by floods the week running up to the big day last year, I remember how good the lineup was and how damn cheap it was too. So I really wanna go this year and see the best in local, national and international artists.
Maybe even some the bands WE KNOW ENO are putting on will play too…Y Niwl would definatley be a good start…Leeds and Manchester were well represented last year.Young British Artists,D/R/U/G/S,Dutch Uncles to name a few…blahblahblah!
Anyway heres the next installment from WE KNOW ENO this time at OPORTO. My poster says it all…get to it I say!..In fact they should give these little scamps there own stage at BEACONS!How good would that be?
NOM, Nom.

Leeds,Leeds,Leeds!…ok hold that chant!
Being a Derby County fan I need to keep those sort of bursts of enthusiasm to a minimum. The football team maybe rubbish, but the music scene over there is buzzin at the moment, and alot of thats down to awesome little venues like Baby Jupiter and those WE KNOW ENO chaps who are ripping around town putting gigs on by some awesome bands.
While at the same time djing probably the most eclectic playlist you’ll ever hear - honest.
More line ups to come but heres a little bubble of info to check out.x

Another flyer / another single launch!..Im currently putting together the artwork for the next POST WAR GLAMOUR GIRLS single out in December- Suburban Barbarian. Its catchy as…I’m telling you!….
Anyway this is obviously the poster for the Launch Party at Nation of Shopkeepers in Leeds. If the gig is anything like the Spitting Pearls/Ode to Harry Dean shindig- then its just going to be immense!

SMART CAR/MERCEDES- (Live Project.22/10/11)

Shock!…

After many weeks of sketching ideas and scratching my head at my Mac, followed by a summer of wondering who had won this project (as I certainly didn’t think it would be me!) The Smart Car/Mercedes Manchester Team unveiled the covered winning design, which was impressively parked along side the two other runners up at the entrance of the The Manchester College building at One Central Park!

Peering down my camera lense waiting for the winning name to be announced I suddenly had a shock -the car was white! I’d WON!!!!!!!!!!!
